Established in 1939, Indian City Properties Limited (ICPL)
is the property development arm of Karam Chand Thapar Group of companies. Ayesha
Thapar, daughter of Vikram Thapar joined ICPL in 2008 as its CEO, and was
later anointed Joint Managing Director in 2012. When asked what her vision is
for ICPL, Ayesha explained "To be leading developer of premium commercial
and residential real estate in the country, known for our timeless creations,
world class design, quality execution and reliable conduct". Currently,
ICPL has projects coming up in Mumbai, Goa, Kolkata and Delhi. ICPL currently
enjoys a portfolio of historical assets, and is simultaneously looking to
expand its foot print through strategic opportunistic acquisitions. ICPL has
consistently partnered with the absolute best architects and interior designers
all over the world. "We look at Design, as one of our strongest USPs. I
personally handle the design management process. Each development has its own
distinct personality and style. The final product emerges as an amalgamation of
the architects interpretation of your vision for the project. Hence it is very

sensibility and artistic expression." says Ayesha, when asked about the
